During his time living in the city, David Bowie was known to browse the vinyl bins in record stores around his neighborhood. There are dozens of indie record stores in Brooklyn, so this Record Store Day Bowie is making his rounds.
These are ways I personally honor Yggdrasil and my personal associations with offerings. I know some people disagree with Yggdrasil being a deity, that’s fine. However, Yggdrasil is the life source for all nine realms and I think she deserves thanks. If you have something negative to say keep it to yourself, these are personal associations and work for me.
Get a small bonsai tree to keep on your altar or in your home.
Run your hands over a tree the next time you go for a walk, appreciate it’s bark and feel its energy.
Learn about Ash trees and other types of trees.
Be grateful and let the people you’re grateful for know.
Volunteer at your local nature conservatory or state/national park.
Light incense or candles that smell like the forest.
Decorate your altar and home in browns, greens, and golds.
Plant a tree!

Drink forest teas(i.e. pine, ash, birch, spruce, plus more!)
Practice self love
Put crystals on your altar or carry some with that remind you of her like petrified wood, tree agate, malachite, emerald, or tourmalated quartz.
Go for a walk in the woods barefoot
Eat local food or food you’ve gathered yourself.
Take a shower and imagine the water is the stream of life washing over you.
Practice grounding and meditation.
Ride your bike or take public transportation over driving yourself when you can.
Try casting runes with wooden ones.
Make your own wooden runes from an ash tree.
Use the Norse runes Eihwaz or Algiz in your worship.
Listen to forest soundscapes! Thisis one of my favorites.
Hang up dried leaves, bark, or branches in your home and above your entry ways.
